"Lost and Found: An Excavation Project", 2005

Hempstead Station, Long Island Railroad

21' x 3 'x 2', bronze

Commissioned by the Metropolitan Transit Authority of NYC and the Long Island Railroad, NY 

 

Installed at the Hempstead Station of the Long Island Railroad Baron's Lost and Found is an iconic celebration of the towns history and heritage. In the center of the plaza stands a 21' tall monolith surrounded by seating sculptures composed of vintage suitcases and local memorabilia.
