Baron's Stratigraphy is seamlessly integrated into the existing facade of the elevator shaft and community plaza welcoming visitors to the  Bascom Library and Community Center. The sculpture chronologically traces the history of San Jose (Silicon Valley) from past to present. Objects were layered to create a geological-like vertical section of excavated earth.
