In these works, I stack repurposed domestic objects into the silhouette of classical vases, drawing on the form’s ancient legacy while reimagining it through a stratigraphy of cultural detritus. Each object—plate, bowl, or vessel—bears marks of past use, quietly honoring the lives and hands that once held them. These elements become more than materials; they act as tributes to shared human experience. In assembling them, I aim to create sculptures that function as both monuments and memorials—layered forms that bridge the personal and the collective, the everyday and the enduring.
